COMU - 50th Anniversary

I had the pleasure of serving as Creative Director for the University of Puerto Rico's 50th Communication Technologies Department anniversary at the Humacao Campus. Beyond determining the overall look and feel of the event, I took on the exciting challenge of creating a series of wall panels that told guests the department's rich history, while encouraging them to explore the entire space. I personally crafted all the graphical elements featured in these panels, which were then used by other designers across various printed materials. My vision for this event was to combine the past and the present, combining the department's signature blue color, symbolizing freshness and technology, with a golden yellow, representing its legacy and history. The design elements, fonts, and textures drew inspiration from vintage graphics, yet maintained a clean and modern aesthetic to reflect today’s minimalistic design styles.
